Mia Farrow's son took his own life
|
Mia Farrow's son Thaddeus took his own life, the Connecticut Office of Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed.
Thaddeus Wilk Farrow was found "suffering from a life threatening injury" inside his car on
Wednesday and taken to Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, where he was pronounced dead.
And the Connecticut Office of Chief Medical Examiner has now confirmed that the death of the 27 year old -
who was paraplegic after being stricken by polio - was suicide via a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the torso.
Mia, 71, has thanked her fans for their support in a statement which also highlighted the work of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
She posted online: "We're devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother. He was a wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life.
We miss him. Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and words of kindness. If you or someone you love needs help,
