Adam Levine is enjoying being a parent to daughter Dusty Rose and thinks it is a "beautiful experience".
The Maroon 5 frontman and wife Behati Prinsloo welcomed daughter Dusty Rose into the world on September 21 and even though
he doesn't know "anything" about being a father, he is enjoying operating on instinct when it comes to caring for the baby.
Speaking on radio show 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest', he said: "I've been a parent for three weeks; what do I know? I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly.
"There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience."
The 37-year-old star previously admitted he and Behati, 27, planned to parent on their own instinct and not pay too much attention to the advice they were offered.
He shared: "When you are doing this for the first time, everybody loves to tell you what you should be doing. So, we're kind of tuning a lot of it out and we're just going to do it how we do it."
Before his little girl was born the 'Voice' coach spoke of how "ready" he felt to be a parent.
He said: "I'm ready to be a dad. You're born to be a parent, that's what we're here for, really. All the other s*** is great, but it's not what we're here for."
Three days after Dusty was born, the couple shared the first picture of the tot on Instagram, with the image featuring the sleeping baby cradled on her father's bare chest.
